Car rental Czech Republic

Czech Republic is a country located in Eastern Europe. It haves a population of 10,512,208 people and it is using the Czech koruna (Kč). In Czech Republic you have to drive on the right direction of the road.

To rent a car in Czech Republic you will need a valid driving license, ID or passport and a valid credit card. Car rental companies may need an International Driving Permit for driving licenses issued outside EU. The roads are in a rather good condition, passengers must wear seatbelts at all times, lights must be on all day and you should always give way to the vehicles on your right at intersections with no traffic signs. You can only park in orange zones for two hours and in green zones for 6 hours. There are parking lots where the price depends on the distance from the city center, with the ones in the city center being the most expensive. Tolls are paid in a form of vignette and the price depends on the amount of days that the vignette will be valid and the weight of the vehicle. All types of fuel are available and you should know the type your rental requires in order to avoid possible engine failure.
