Israel is a country located in Euro-Asia. It haves a population of 7,933,200 people and it is using the Israeli new shekel (₪). In Israel you have to drive on the right direction of the road.

To rent a car in Israel you have to be older than 21 years old and have a valid driving license for at least a year, a passport and a valid credit card. There is no need for an International Driving Permit. Israeli drivers are known as being impatient, so drive carefully. Seat belts must be worn at all times and from the 1st of November until the 31st of March lights must be on all day. If you need to get out of the car on the highway (accident, police check) you need to wear a yellow reflective vest, that the car need to have when renting it. Parking is prohibited to places marked with white, red and yellow lines and is recommended to use parking lots. There are no toll roads in Israel, except road 6. When renting a car you will be asked not to use road 6, or you will be charged more afterwards. Most gas stations have self service pumps that accept credit cards and you can refill your car all hours.
