Car rental Serbia

Serbia is a country located in Southern Europe. It haves a population of 7,120,666 people and it is using the Serbian dinar (РСД). In Serbia you have to drive on the right direction of the road.

To rent a car in Serbia you will need a driving license, a valid credit card and an ID or a passport. If the driving license was issued in EU but is not the new form or if it was issued outside EU you will need an International Driving Permit. You should give way to vehicles coming from your right, all passengers should wear seatbelts and vehicles must have snow chains always available. Roads are not in a very good condition and local drivers tend to drive aggressively, so be always alert. Parking is controlled by zones and maximum parking duration, red zone 1 hour, yellow zone 2 hours and green zone 3 hours. There are also parking lots, a little more expensive but safer and without time limit. The highways have toll plazas with booths where you pay in cash and the amount is fixed according to the type of the vehicle.
